Comment
This is a good and faithfull version of the Oscar Wilde play. The direction is staid and has the feel of a film of a stage play but the very capable actors deliver good performances of one of Oscar Wilde's best scripts. Joan Greenwood and Dorothy Tutin give performances in the female leads that have set the standard for furture performances.
