A feisty young woman (Clara Bow) and daughter of a plantation owner falls in love with a married British engineer (Clive Brook). This was a vehicle for Clara Bow as the feisty and unconventional young woman. She goes against the conventions expected of women at that time and the film starts with her in a nude bathing scene.
