A man in a lunatic asylum is calmed by a nurse (Lillian Gish) playing the piano, but he then escapes and threatens the wife (Claire McDowell) of the doctor (Lionel Barrymore) from the asylum. The film is nothing special, except for a slightly more sympathetic and positive view of mental health than was prevalent at the time.
