A mother and her daughter move out of the city to a small town. They rent a house on the endge of town, next to a house where a young woman killed her parents. The daughter befriends the brother of the girl who killed their parents, against the wish of her mother and uncovers some dark secrets. The production quality and dialogue are not the best, but there is a very good performance from Jennifer Lawrence dealing with various dysfunctional relationships and a solid performance from Elisabeth Shue as the woman trying to be a good mother.
