Melissa Joan Hart is dumped by her boyfriend just before Christmas whilst she is working as a waitress. She then kidnaps one of the customers to pose as her boyfriend with her family in a remote cabin for Christmas. After he manages to phone his girlfriend for help he decides to pretend to be the best boyfriend for the family. However time together changes their attitude to each other and changes the family. The plot may not be original but this is one of the more entertaining Christmas films.
