A washed up alcoholic poet is asked by his God daughter to investigate if her family have the ability to miraculously heal people. Roger Allam carries the film as the cynic insvestigating a dysfunctional family with a reason to beleive in suernatural healing. The script is somewhat uneven as are some of the characterisations. THis is a pleasant though not a great film.
