A married woman (Ann Harding) who is being blackmailed by the man she had an affair with, goes to pay him off and ends up accidentally killing him.The plot of this early sound film is typical of a woman trying to repent of her infidelities. The problem with the film is that the acting is very wooden and Ann Harding went on to give much better performances.
