This films tells the story of the relationship between A A Milne (Domhall Gleeson) and his son who was the inspiration to the character Christopher Robin. His parents are distant from him, with his mother (Margot Robbie) more interested in social status then being a mother and so he has more relationship with his nanny (Kelly Macdonald) and then after the success of the Winnie the Pooh books he is exploited and bullied at school.
