A gold digging waitress at a cafe in a university town meets an English lecturer in Greek mythology and confides in how she plan to get money from rich batchelors to be able to travel to Paris. However things start to get complicated when she meets up and befreinds a man who is the brother of the woman the lecturer is about to marry. This is a fun romantic comedy with great performances from both Melvyn Douglas and Joan Blondell. This may be a 1930's rom con but it still resonates today.
