Comment
An organisation set up to control giant monsters on the earth has a problem when a super monster is awakened and an organisation (run by Charles Dance) wants to awaken them to destroy humanity. The ex wife (Vera Farmiga) of one of the scientists (Kyla Chandler) mistakenly helps the people wanting to awaken the monsters, but then changes her mind. Whilst the monsters and the scenes of them fighting are visually impressive, the plot and characters are less impressive. Given the level of carnage and destruction, ther is no way any of the characters could have survived, but then this is a monster movie and so that happens. The best acting performance was from Millie Bobby Brown as the daughter caught in the middle of warring parents.
