A young woman (Elizabeth Allan) under stress from exams decides to visit her parents but on the way suffers from amnesia. She meets a man (Ralph Michael) who then intrduces her to his girlfriend (Enid Stamp Taylor). Thinking she is trying to steal away her boyfrind the girlfriend pays a woman (Muriel Aked) to pretend to be her mother. The plot is nothing exciting and predictable. Elizabeth Allan is pleasant in the lead and Muriel Aked is suitably two faced as the pretend mother running a scam. The side plot of her parents (Basil Radford and Jeanne de Casalis) flying to Baghdad is silly.
