Comment/Synopsis

A mother (Louise Dresser) makes her daughter's (Marion Marsh) life miserable as she thinks her birth was the cause of her husbands's death. However with the help of friends she puts herself through school and charms the son of the local doctor. This was based on a popular book of the time. Marion Marsh is good if slightly old for the part and Louise Dresser is good as the mother.
