A hacker is approached to steal back a program that can control the world's nuclear arsenal, but before she can return it it is stoledn from her. She has to retreive it whilst being chased by gangs and government agents. This is the fourth in Millenium series of films, though this was not written by the original writer. The originals had Lisbeth Salander as a dysfunctional hacker and an investigative jounalist with problems. This film has her as just another action hero, which is a shame. This film has lost the complexity of the characters and the plot and is now car chases, explosions and killings.
