When a patient dies in her care a nurse is tried and rightfully aquited. However she finds it difficult to get another job so she changes her name and gets another job. However when this patient also dies she is susected of being guilty by association with her past, but a lawyer sets out to prove her innocence. The plot is about how is Margaret Lockwood going to prove her innocence in what is more of a courtroom drama. The heart of the film is the performance from Margaret Lockwood and well supported from a good British cast.
