Patrick Swayze is killed by a mugger and comes back as a spirit to protect his girlfriend (Demi Moore) and find his killer. There is on screen chemistry between Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore. Good performance by Whoopi Goldberg as the fake medium who finds she can talk to a ghost. The potters wheel scene is now famous for all the comedy versions of it.
