An insurance investigator is brought out of retirement to investigate the theft of jewels from his old company. This is a British crime drama that has an OK plot and the script is quite variable. There are a few funny scenes and comic lines. The best performance comes from Edward Everett Horton as the butler and there is good support from Googie Withers though her role is comparatively limited.
