In a future world were people can control the minds and actions of other people in massive on-line games. In one (Society) people control other people for hedonistic pleasure and in the other (Slayers) criminals on death row are given the option of joining a shoot them up game and if they survive 30 episodes they are pardoned. One of the slayers is about to reach 30, but the owner of the game cannot let him be pardoned, but he manages to escape with the help of people who are trying to stop the control and rescues his wife from the other game. The in game scenes are violent and bloody or are sexual with nudity, but it is a good example of reality TV gone to the extreme. There are good performances from Gerard Butler and Amber Valetta, though Kyra Sedgwick's character is under used.
