A newspaper woman (Bette Davis) competes with a rival newspaper man (George Brent) for a story to uncover a murderer. Meanwhile they are also romantically involved with each other even though he says women cannot be a reporter. Whilst this is not the best film from Bette Davis, but she is entertaining in one of her comedy roles.
