Charles Bronson leads a gang of bank robbers who on the way to their next robbery stop at widow Jill Ireland's house to find a horse. They go off to rob a bank whilst he stays and has an affair with Jill Ireland. When the robbery goes wrong she thinks he is going to rescue his gang but he has other ideas. This is an offbeat western that revolves around the performances of Charles Bronson and Jill Ireland which is not a classic western or romance but is intriguing for its variation in the plot.
