A man (Lon Chaney Jr) wakes up after an operation only to be questioned about a series of murders and then discovers he has become a wolf man. To find a way to cure himself he goes searching for Dr Frankenstein, but he has died, though he does meet his monster (Bela Lugosi) and his daughter (Ilona Massey). Whilst not the best of horror plots it is produced in a suitably atmospheric manner.
