Two men helped by a woman (Barbara payton) invent a machine that will duplicate anything. When one of the men marries the woman, the other man who has benn in love with her decides to make a duplicate of the woman. He wanted the duplicate to fall in love with him, but as she was an exact duplicate she was in love with the other man. The film has a good premise, but it is slow and drawn out to get to major plot points. Although it touches on the morality of being able to duplicate anything and anyone this is not really explored. This is not the best film that Terence Fisher made for Hammer. The music was composed by Malcolm Arnold.
