After being sacked for drinking the fireman on the Flying Scotsman seeks revenge on the driver whilst unknowingly flirting with his daughter. There is littl plot in the film and much of the first half is a weak romance. The best parts of the film are those filmed on the actual train with Pauline Johnson climbing along the utside of the moving train with no wires or safety harness. The film started as a silent film and then sound was added but only to the second two thirds of the film.
