Jeff Goldblum is a scientist who invents a teleporter but when he tries to use it a fly gets into the machine and he gradually turns into a fly with unfortunate consequences. Excellent performances from Jeff Goldblum as he gradually turns into a fly and tries to cope with this and Geena Davies as his girlfriend watching him change. There are some very good effects. This is an improvement on the original 1950's film as it isless horror and more a study of the effects of someone turning from a man into a monster.
