In the future time travel has been developed and one man's job is to return to 1980 London to observe trffic. But he breaks the rules and lands looking for a past relative. He is just supposeed to observe and not land to prevent history being changed. However he keeps landing to look for his relative and starts an affair with Caroline Langrishe. This was made as part of the BBC Play For Today series and the best part is the performance from a young Caroline Langrishe as the love interest.
