An incompetent newspaper reporter (Joe E Brown) is sent to investigate the attempted assassination of a visiting king. He meets an attractive young lady (Helen Mack) who it turns out is actually the princess who is about to take the throne. This is a comedy that has plenty of opportunity for slapstick from Joe E Brown and romance with the elegant and charming Helen Mack.
