Comment/Synopsis

John Cleese is a straight laced and married British solicitor who gets involved with a beautiful American (Jamie Lee Curtis) who is part of a gang (including Kevin Kline) involved in a robbery. This is a great British comedy written by John Cleese that has some great physical jokes as well as some good comic lines. There is a great interplay between the stuffy John Cleese and the free willed Jamie Lee Curtis, with Kevin Kline as the slightly manic American, Michael Palin as the underachiever and Maria Aitken as the put upon English wife. This is one of the best British comedies of the 1980's.
