The daughter (Katie Holmes) of the US president (Michael Keaton) wants to go to university as a normal student but her parents and the security detail prevent this from happening. This is a film that should have been better but is let down by a poor script. it gets lost between a romance, how to be normal when your parents are famous and how children of American politicians are treated. As a consequence it ends up being none of these. Katie Holmes character says she wants to be normal at university but then flies to of her friends to a high profile social event the other side of the country in Air Force One. These inconsistencies undermine the script, so unless you want to see Katie Holmes dancing on a table top, this is probably best avoided, despite having Michael Keaton and Margaret Colin as her parents.
