A hapless but ambitious shoe salesman pretends to be a leather tycoon to impress a woman who turns out to be his boss's daughter. This has more a constricted story than many of his films but does mean the jokes are fewer. The highlight is the extended final scene with Harold Lloyd on the outside of a skyscraper trying to get inside which pays tribute to his earlier Safety Last. Barbara Kent has a supporting role as the love interest.
