A cyclist (Stanley Baxter) buys a sports car (The Fast Lady) and learns to drive when he falls in love with a woman (Julie Christie) who likes fast cars despite the opposition of her father (James Robertson Justice). The script and plot are not great and the characters not really engaging. Julie Christies went on to give better performances in better films.
