A woman inherits a large farm and is persued by three very different men and her life decisions impacts their lives and a wider community. Julie Christie gives a good performance in the lead role. There is good support from Alan Bates as the sheep farmer who helps her run the farm, Peter Finch as the wealthy land owner and Terrence Stamp as the volative womanising soldier.
