A young woman (Anne hathaway) is given a gift by a fairy of having to obey anything she is told. She has to keep this hidden from her step family and the prince she is falling in love with. This is a reworking of the Cinderella story that has a good cast and is aimed at the teenage market. This is an early film from Anne hathaway showing her potential and some fun supporting performances from some good actors. Whilst not a great film but it is fun and entertaining for what it is.
