A family who run a business and have a complex series of inter-relationship including step children, throw a party. The Gourmet Detective and his police officer girlfriend attend the party where one of the children is shot during the restaging of an old family duel. As they investigate, there are more deaths. Unlike the previous films in this series, there is no chemistry between Brooke Burns and Dylan Neal in this one, which leads to a bland made for television murder mystery.
