A woman (Isabel Jeans) goes through a high profile divorce case (Franklin Dyall) and then moves to France under a new identity. She meets a man (Robin Irvine) and marries him, but her past catches up with her. This is Hitchcock's version of Noel Coward's take on the social effects of divorce on women in th 1920's. There is a solid performance from Isabel Jeans in the lead role.
