Comment/Synopsis

This is an anthology of four films about groups of people who win the foorball pools either honestly or dishonestly and the impact it has on their lives. ir is a piece of post-war British moralising and is dated as it revolves around the football pools. The high point is Grta Gynt singing Shady Lady in the night club.
