Dr Jekyll is trying to find the elixir of life by using feamle hormones from women who have recently died. When he tries this on himself it causes him to alternate with a female alternative of himself. This is a Hammer films version of the Jekyll and Hyde story, with effective performances from Ralph Bates and Martine Beswick as Jekyll and Hyde and Susan Brodwick as the innocent woman attracted to Dr Jekyll.
