When their mother goes on holiday for the summer, a group of children are left in a care of a strict elderly nanny. However when she dies suddenly they have to fend for themselves and the eldest talks her way into a high powered job in a clothing firm, whilst the rest just lounge about. This is basically a fun teenage film with an implausable plot, but Christina Applegate gives a good performance in the lead as the teenager stepping up into the work place even if it is all a lie.
