Comment/Synopsis

A reporter investigates a series of brutal murders linked to scientists research that occur at each full moon. This is a mix of murder mystery with some hooror styles parts. Being filmed in two colour Technicolor gives a suitably eerie green to the darker scenes. Lionel Atwill gives a solid performance as the scientist, though some of Lee Tracy's comic scenes seem out of place. Fay Wray has a limited role but delivers a good performance. As a pre-code film it was able to deal with murder, canibalism and brief implication of prostitution and Fay Wray in her nightwear.
