Comment/Synopsis

Sean Connery returns as James Bond 007 this time to break up a diamond ring that starts in South Africa, moves to Amsterdam and then to Las Vegas. Sean Connery is his usual sauve self and Jill St John is the courier caught up in the bigger scheme of things. The evil Blofelt is taking the diamonds to create a space weapon to dominate the world. There are problems with the logical thread of the plot but the set pieces are well prouced an Jill St John plays her part as the samll time crook getting involved in something bigger well. Sean Connery came back to Bond in this film after the not so successful George Lazenby in On Her Majesty's Secret Service. This was his final outing as Bond before his final return in Never Say Never Again.
