Brian Keith and his two companions arrive in a town to rob the bank. However during a gun fight he accidently kills Maureen O'Hara's son. She decides to bury him in Indian country where her husband is buried and the three men accompany her. Sam Pekinpah delivers a film that is more character driven than action and Maureen O'Hara gives a good performance as the feisty widow.
