In a world over run by zombies a small group of scientists and soldiers are hiding out in an underground bunker.The tensions between the groups increases and comes to a head when the soldiers realise that one of the scientists has been experimenting on dead soldiers as well as the zombies.The first half of the film sets up the characters surviving in the bunker and thee second half is where the blood and gore comes in the humans battle the zombies. George A Romero has delivered another good zombie film with particularly good effects and zombie makeup and a good performance from Lori Cardille.
