Sally Gray is an American reporter who meets a musician and pilot in Warsaw during World War 2. They meet up again in America and get married, but he joins up with a Polish squadron and gets shot down. Sally Gray gives a good performance but Anton Walbrook lacks the emotion needed for the character.
