A dancer (Miriam Hopkins) at a club attracts the attentions of the band leader (Jack Oakie) and the sax player (William Collier Jr). However their rivalry gets complicated when a gangster moves in on her as well. This is pretty standard romance with a few musical numbers thrown in from both Miriam Hopkins and Lyda Roberti.
