Comment/Synopsis

After the family loose all their money a woman (Joan Crawford) gets a job as a reproter and her brother (William Bakewell) gets involved with gangsters (Clark Gable). He ends up being forced to kill a reproter and she is sent undercover in a night club to find the killer without knowing it is her brother. There is a good performance from Joan Crawford that is mainly dramatic but does have a dance number in the middle. There is also a small supporting role for CLark Gable as the chief gangster.
