After his father is killed by a wolf in his study the man (Stephen Crane) and his assistant (Osa Massen) investigate the disappearance of a woman years ago and and the link with a mysterious gypsy princess (Nina Foch). Whilst the basic plot is not too bad, the script and production are uninspiring. The characters come across very flat and unemotional. Nina Foch has top billing but is underused and drab for a gypsy princess.
