The owner of an art gallery is killed during a robbery and a crossword puzzle is found at the site. The writer of crossword puzzles decides that one of the writers of the crossword puzzles for her paper is using them to set up art thefts. The plot has a different take to many of these types of film. Lacey Chabert has her usual charm is this made for television murder mystery of the amateur sleuth helping the police.
