The crossword editor (Lacey Chabert) is having a birthday treat at a magic show when the magician dies on stage so she and the detective (Brennan Elliott) who was also present start to investigate but find the death was not quite what it seemed. This is the third of the Crossword Mysteries films with Lacey Chabert in the lead and a better plot, that has plenty of twists.
