A scientist uses a ray to immobilise all of Paris except the night watchman on top of the Eiffel Tower and a group of travellers who arrive by plane. They take advantage of the situation in their different ways. This is a well filmed piece of sci-fi / fantasy that has some great shots of Paris in the 1920's with a number taken from up the Eiffel Tower from French director Rene Clair.
