A real estate closer returns to her estranged family to buy the neighbouring ranch for her client even though her family are trying to buy it and the owner does not want to sell. This does not really have any connection with Christmas and it is really about Jana Kramer's relationship with her family and their ranch as well as the developing romantic relationship with the owner of the ranch she is trying to buy. Whilst the plot is not orriginal, it is an unusual variation on the plot.
