A man wakes up in a Welsh village with no memory of who he is. With the help of a local doctor he begins to discover who he really was, which was a man with several wives. As he meets his wives he realises he is a bigamist. He dislikes that character, but all his wives still love him, which leads to some interesting twists, but a poor ending. The morality is strange, as it contrasts the two versions of him but is negative to the women. Despite that there are some good performances from Kay Kendall, Nicole Maurey and Margaret Leighton.
