Comment/Synopsis

Cleopatra (Claudette Colbert) as queen of Egypt gets in involved in the politics of Rome through Julius Caesar (Warren William) and Mark Anthony (Henry Wilcoxon). This is Cecil B DeMille's epic verion of Cleopatra with several impressive set piece scenes with masses of extras and enormous sets. Claudette Colbert is very good as Cleopatra, giving her a sensual and human character.
